Must Watch Speech Nepali best actress Sumina Ghimire

This has to be one of the most hilarious speech given by any award winners. Why do they choose to speak in English when they know they are not good at it. Its absolutely fine to speak in Nepali and people should not be ashamed to say that they are not comfortable talking in English. No one is going to judge them for not knowing English. Such a poor delivery of speech is very humiliating for herself.

Sumnima Ghimire lesson for you : Either learn English or stick to Nepali Language.

Manisha Koirala and Samrat Dahal's fairy tale wedding

Manisha Koirala’s marriage celebrations took place at the Gokarna Forest Resort in Kathmandu. The traditional Nepali marriage was held on Saturday at the Courtyard and the outstation guests stayed at the beautiful cottage-style rooms of the resort. The venue for the Sunday reception is Soaltee Crowne Plaza Hotel and over 3,000 guests including President Ram Baran Yadav, prime minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, Maoist chief Prachanda and former King Gyanendra are expected to attend. The wedding venue, Gokarna Forest resort is located at the serene Gokarna Forest, the former private Royal hunting grounds of the Kings of Nepal. The quiet peaceful haven has ancient towering trees, winding roads and a beautiful valley view.

At the pre-wedding function, Manisha, 41 looked pretty in a yellow saree with gold embroidery and a traditional green garland (made of sewn grass, it is worn by Nepali brides and grooms to bring good luck). Samrat, 33 wore a classic western suit. For the wedding, Manisha wore red while Samrat wore a traditional costume. A Nepali wedding function is a long one, it takes over three hours, and some of Manisha’s Bollywood friends like Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Deepti Naval, Vivek Mushran, Suman Ranganathan and designer Ana Singh were there. After the ‘kanyadan’ (send-off), Samrat took his bride to his parents home at Maharajgunj in a procession accompanied by a wedding band that played mostly Bollywood tunes.

According to Samrat’s father Surendra Dahal who runs the Kathmandu based company Leather Wings, the newly-wed couple may settle down in Mumbai, New York or Kathmandu. Samrat is the youngest of three siblings. His elder brother Suraj is in the education business, and his elder sister Shuvashree is pursuing her Phd in the US. Samrat also studied in the US and is now setting up bio-gas plants in Nepal, starting with tourist city Pokhara. Manisha’s Koirala family has been likened to the Kennedys and Gandhis. Her grandfather B P Koirala was the first elected prime minister of Nepal, and many of her grand-uncles, uncles and aunts have played a key role in politics. She was earlier engaged to the then Australian ambassador to Nepal Crispin Conroy. She later dated American author and speaker Christopher Dorris, and while rumours were rife that they’ll be marrying, they didn’t take the plunge.(Wedding Sutra)

Manisha Koirala ends her marriage with Samrat Dahal

Ever since Manisha Koirala tied the knot with businessman Samrat Dalal in 2010, her marriage has been under the scanner. Actress Manisha Koirala, who will turn 42 Aug 16, ended her two years of married life with Samrat Dahal.Their marriage was going through a turbulent phase, which was made apparent by her posts on social networking sites. Another friend of the actress revealed that although her marriage to Dalal has failed, she still goes to Nepal as her family is living there. The friend insisted that although Koirala tried hard to save her marriage, the differences only deepened with time. The friend, however, added that the pair has taken the split on their stride. Recently the actress was caught by shutterbugs in an inebriated and a poor state at a party. Manisha also made headlines when she hinted about her shaky personal life on her networking page. NY Times on Aamir and Satyamev Jayate

LINK

MUMBAI, India — Aamir Khan spent more than two decades as one of India’s most admired movie stars, appearing in a string of socially conscious but mainstream films. Now he has gained even more fame as the host of a hugely popular weekly television show that is calling attention to some the country’s longstanding social problems.

Taped in front of a live audience, Mr. Khan’s show, “Satyamev Jayate,” or “Truth Prevails,” is something more than a talk show but less than “60 Minutes.” Mixing Oprah-style interviews on a couch with short reports from the field, it tries to shine a spotlight on festering issues like dowries, domestic violence and indignities in the caste system.

In just three months the show has become a national phenomenon, distributed in seven languages and drawing a cumulative audience of nearly 500 million, according to Star India, India’s largest private TV network, which is owned by News Corporation and which commissioned and broadcast the show.

One of the early programs, in May, provided a vivid example of the show’s influence. Mr. Khan, 47, highlighted a seven-year-old sting operation by two TV reporters who had broadcast footage of more than 100 doctors offering to illegally abort female fetuses. While the legal cases against them languished in India’s notoriously slow courts, the doctors continued to practice medicine.

But just days after Mr. Khan featured the topic on his show, the top elected leader from the State of Rajasthan, where the journalists did their investigation, met with Mr. Khan and promised to have the cases transferred to special courts that expedite the dispensing of justice.

That kind of swift reaction has made Mr. Khan — variously described as India’s Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney or Bono — increasingly sought after by policy makers, social advocates and others who see him as a savior or champion for their causes. In addition to meeting with the chief minister of Rajasthan, he testified before a committee of Parliament about the country’s health care system after he did a program on medical malpractice. And last week he met with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to press for a government ban on the practice of having human waste cleaned and carried away by people born into the lowest rungs of the Indian caste system.

He also has a weekly column in The Hindustan Times, takes calls from viewers on a weekly national radio show and is frequently interviewed on prime-time TV news shows.

“Mr. Khan is doing the nation a service by raising important issues which need greater public debate,” said Dr. K. Srinath Reddy, president of the Public Health Foundation of India, which is financed by the government and nonprofit organizations like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Shyam Benegal, a respected TV and film director and a former member of the upper house of Parliament, said Mr. Khan has done what many others have failed to do — reach the Indian mainstream by using Bollywood tropes in the service of larger causes. His shows, for instance, always include musical performances, frequently show him crying as he interviews his guests and include jokey banter.

“This is effective because Aamir Khan is a film star,” said Mr. Benegal, who once made shows for the state-owned broadcaster, Doordarshan. “And he is a pretty good P.R. man for himself, as well. And all those things help.”

Mr. Khan’s fame has helped the show attract sponsors like India’s largest cellphone carrier, Airtel and the foundation arm of one of the country’s largest companies, Reliance Industries.

In an interview earlier this month — after spending two hours at the gym to prepare for an coming action film — Mr. Khan likened his approach to the show to his 2007 movie, “Taare Zameen Par” or, literally, “Stars on Earth.” The film, which he directed and starred in, told the story of a family’s and school’s inability to meet the needs of a dyslexic child.

“If I tell you I am making a film on dyslexia, how many people are going to walk into the theater?” he said in a discussion at the Taj Land’s End, a five-star hotel frequented by Bollywood stars. “No one will walk in: ‘Oh, come let’s watch a movie about dyslexia.’ So, I have to tell you it’s a film about childhood and children.”

In the same way, he said, Satyamev Jayate does not announce in advance the subjects he intends to cover.

There is little in Mr. Khan’s upbringing to suggest he would end up hosting such a show. He dropped out of college to pursue his movie career and his first breakout film, in 1988, was a popular Bollywood musical in which his character elopes with his girlfriend because their families do not approve of their relationship.

Starting about a decade ago, however, Mr. Khan began to go down a different path tinged with social activism. In the 2001 Oscar-nominated movie “Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India,” Mr. Khan played a villager in colonial India who challenges a British regiment to a cricket match to determine whether his village must pay an extortionate land tax, or lagaan.

Some entertainment industry analysts trace the change to his relationship with Kiran Rao, an assistant director on “Lagaan” who became Mr. Khan’s second wife. Ms. Rao is known for eclectic interests and for making films that do not hew to the well-worn Bollywood formula.

Since “Lagaan,” Mr. Khan has starred in and or produced movies that deal with issues like political corruption, indebted farmers and India’s regimented higher education system. Most popular Indian actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Salmaan Khan, who are not related to Mr. Khan but with whom he is often compared, have largely shied away from such subjects.

“It’s hard for people to remember now that in the 1990’s, that he was a huge star — one of the three Khans,” said Rachel Dwyer, a professor of Indian cultures and cinema at the University of London. “It’s in this decade that he has remade himself.”

Mr. Khan said he does not see “Lagaan” as a turning point for his career. But he acknowledges that Ms. Rao, who he described as “full of life,” helped him become less insular.

While his show has won much praise, it has also been criticized for its sometimes simplistic treatment of complicated subjects. The Indian Medical Association has protested its portrayal of doctors, which it says casts doctors as money grubbing and unprofessional on the basis of a few errant examples.

Mr. Khan and the top executive at Star dismiss that criticism as self-interested.

“We are very clear here that we are mass media, you cannot take the masses out from it,” Uday Shankar, the chief executive of Star India, said in an interview. “In order to keep the masses engaged if you have to simplify, so be it, because anything less would be meaningless. Then it would become an academic paper on the health sector.”

Other critics have argued that the show is too meek in identifying culprits. For example, it did not name the doctors accused of offering illegal abortions.

“He needs to catch a few throats,” said Dilip Cherian, a newspaper columnist and founder of Perfect Relations, a public relations firm. “A little bit of name and shame will probably work well for the show.”

Mr. Khan said he never intended to make an investigative show along the lines of “60 Minutes” and argued that he was having a much bigger impact by bringing big issues in front of mainstream audiences in a way that seeks to shame them out of their apathy. “We are not mincing our words,” he said, but added in Hindi: “Our attitude is not to blame this or that person. We are all to blame. First, you have to understand that.”

Both Mr. Khan and Mr. Shankar declined to provide financial details about the show, other than to say that Mr. Khan’s production company is paid 35 million rupees ($630,000) for each of the 13 episodes of the first season, which ends on Sunday. Both say they would like to do another season of “Satyamev Jayate” but will wait a few months to make a decision.

In the meantime, some of Mr. Khan’s supporters have suggested that he run for elected office, which has often served as a sinecure for Indian film celebrities. Mr. Khan denies any interest in politics.

“He could definitely make a good politician,” Mr. Benegal, the filmmaker and former legislator, said. But he added: “I think. ‘why should he?’ He has already been successful in politics now without being in mainline politics.”

My thoughts on Shristi Shrestha- Miss Nepal 2012

Ok guys have to write this.. Everyone is talking about Shristi Shrestha and her beauty and what not..People are having high hopes from her..But all I want to say is lets not keep our hopes high...I am not trying to spit the negativity about her but come on lets be honest and realistic here...Beauty is not the only criteria that takes to win Miss World. There is no doubt in my mind that she is impeccably beautiful with nice and sexy body..but I am not sure about her personality and confidence...

I can easily see her winning "America's Next Top Model" as she has got the perfect modelling face but I am not quite convinced about she winning Miss World 2012.
Miss World is not about being beautiful...If that was the case Priyanka Chopra wud have never won Miss World Title...Miss world is about everything; beauty, brain , personality, confidence and right attitude..I kind of believe Shristi Shrestha lacks few of these traits..

I have watched some of her interviews and I have noticed that she lacks the attitude and the personality..The way she talks and answer her questions seems so rehearsed..What reallyyyy bothers me is that she talks toooo low....I have to glue my ear to the TV or my computer to understand what she is saying...I cannot believe that she grew up in LONDOn....I don't expect her to have an English Accent but come on atleast speak up with an attitude...

If you check out her pictures she looks absolutely stunning and gorgeous but like I said I don't have my hopes high for her....I will be ecstatic to find out if she brings home the MISS WORLD 2012 CROWN but i guess for that we have to wait and watch.....However I wish her all the very best for the upcoming contest...

I am shared some of her interview videos....

Choli Chhoto Bho - Another Nepali Item Song Ft. Soniya KC

After "Udreko Choli" here comes another Nepali Item Song "Choli Chhoto bho" ...I guess the next one would be "mero choli harayo launa khoji dew na sathi"

I don't know why Nepali directors and film makers are so obsessed with "Choli" these days...Well I guess whatever sells more they are going to go with that...Personally I don't like the song...I didn't find any wow factor in this song other than some cheap dance moves and senseless lyrics..

Its from the movie "Bhyihalcha ni" and Soniya KC is the item dancer of this song.

So called Nepali model.....

This is my second post about our so called Nepali models where nudity has become a norm...I am appalled at the images that I have came across over the internet...I have nothing against modelling career and the growing hype towards Nepali entertainment business. But it really disturbs me when people forget to draw a line between elegance and vulgarity. Modelling is not just about showing cleavage, and exposing their body parts in an obscene way. It's an art which is beautifully captured by professional photographers, choreographers and hard working models.
However in many cases of Nepali modelling profession these essential ingredients seems to be lacking and missing.

Its very unfortunate that because of these images the whole modelling profession is scrutinized and stigmatized in your society. I feel sorry for these self acclaimed models who appear nothing but as an sexual object in their photo shoot. Media take no time to glamorize their nudity in the name of modelling, encouraging such acts in a shameless manner.

Take a look at our so called Nepali Model to see what I am talking about....

Inter-caste a solution for castism ? | Untouchbility should prevail ? | Episode 10 on Satyamev Jayate

Caste is possibly Hinduism's biggest embarrassment on the world stage. A majority of population of our country do not even acknowlegde this to be a problem. Whats wrong with caste, they would ask.

People try to justify casteism with all kinds of theories. The much popularized is the blame to vedas but its the only vedas to be blamed? or its more of basal instincts of human, A more popular reason is that lower castes tend to be unclean and thus to be seggregraeted.

Once again the team of Satyamev Jayate was on target. It might be hard to digest for Young urbans of our county, but its true untouchabiity is still prevalent in our nation and also in our society.

The debate regarding the caste is not a new things, its been happening for years, different groups with different solution, but very people have understood it. Sad is the our parents who we love can never aspect the change of belief, do we blame society or vedas or lack of human in us?

One of my favorite scenes from movie swades, talks castism at broader level comparing our society with west culture.

This scene from Swades movie gives an example of how castism is understood at various sector with a believe " Jo Kabhi Nai Jaati uski ku Jaati Khete hai".

When we acknowledge that the problem lies with racism, we have to accept that the only true solution that can be offered is that of deleting the very notion of race. This is probably hard to implement in the global circumstances, but can very well be achieved in our society.

Whether they like it or not, Our Society are a completely mixed race. So, it is ridiculous for them to continue with the ancient customs of racial seggregation. The only solution to racism (caste) lies in discouraging within-caste marriages.

Please notice that I am not just saying inter-caste marriages should be encouraged. This is true. But apart from this, a viable solution needs to have a definite element of discouraging within-caste marriages.

Inter-caste marriages suffers its own consequences specially if a family is more orthodox, this explains how one's daughter or son are boycotted to follow one rule of culture or society or name it a religion to abide the most natural thing human can experince - love to his own blood.

Indiviudal code of conduct is the way to start or address this problem. One of highpoint of this show was discussion with Justice Chandra Shekar. One of his solution of new age society should follow is Never ask anyone's caste, never answer anyone's caste is the way to live life. He also mentioned if Brahmins are given broom to clean and lower caste takes up Gita or vedas that would solve all the problems of our society then we have all human as equal, who decides for themselves not by any caste, color, skin or family.

Cast-ism or any kinda of discrimination issue, needs to be taught, understood and explained. To an extend that we should abide.

Watch Satyamev Jayate and decide are you the one who discriminates or the one who is been discriminated. Never let them anyone do it or never do it anyone. We are human with equal rights.

Don't Drink Alcohol says Satyamevjayate | EPISODE 10 | Alcohol Abuse |

"Aye Zindgayi tu hi Baata Khoya hai Tujhe tho Paon Kahan" This week on Satyamevjayate Aamir Khan talks about how important to value life and not wasting your life in Alcoholism.

Alcoholism has became an accepted norm in the today's urban crowd. be it a socail gathering or be it family function, the society doesn't consider alcohol as something which can bother their normal behavior.

But is that all easy dealing with alcohol? There a known and secret law of attraction with alcohol.

The Law of Attraction is not a magical, mysterious force that is used to attract whatever you focus on into your life. But when it comes to alcohol addiction the whole concept is changed. Now people who want to have in life will turned into people who want to Avoid Life.

Aamir Khan starts the show with talking to one of the leading editor and the impact of alcohol in his life.

One of the most interesting message comes from Javed Aktar who was once a alcoholic "Dont get drunk because its the most stupid things" and he also add that "being wrong or bad is acceptable whats the point of being stupid and cheap"

Show also talks about the occasional drinker who enjoy their drinking in a party, special occasions and important eves and consider it as hazardous drinking.

Drinking or Alcoholism issue is not as big compared to other social issues we have seen. But for some it may act as lesson, talking point, start judging alcohol for its not effects but after effects.

Why Nepali Actresses are being targeted in Movie Industry

Nepali Movie Industry has been criticized for a long time for its incompetency to make a quality movie. This is the main reason why Nepali audiences are more inclined to Bollywood industries. Its only after the release and the immense success of LOOT, Nepali audience got confidence in the Nepali movie industry. Movie makers have finally understood the expectations of new generation and are more determined to make good movies. I am sure in coming days, more good and meaningful movies would be released.

However, one thing I don't understand is why the media is so much after Nepali Actresses. There is a desperate cry from Nepali audience for something better and quality movies. But whenever the movies come out actresses are always criticized for their bold scenes and sexuality. Why can't we accept that its part of the entertainment industry and we have to respect our actresses for taking that stand to be part of the movies.

Now talking about Chapali Heights, the controversial movie, Binita Baral has been constantly put under the microscope for doing some bold scenes. I don't understand why she is being so much targeted by the media and reporters. It was part of her job and I don't think she did anything indecent. Why is it okay for us to adore Hollywood and Bollywood actress for such a scene but why not our own Nepali Actresses? Why do they have to explain everyone over and over again about their roles in the movies...Why can't we just watch the movie, accept it , respect it and move on....

If you watch the below interview with the Binita Baral, you can see how the reporter is purposefully trying to disrespect Binita. A reporter cannot have a biased opinion while interviewing any person. If you watch the interview carefully Binita Baral stands on her ground and gracefully answers all his question...

I think people need to grow up and accept that it is a part of the Entertainment business and respect Nepali Actresses...

Binita Baral about Chapali Heights

I guess everyone knows Binita Baral by now...She is the sensational actress of Chapali Heights movie. Chapali Heights movie is also one the most talked about movies in Nepali Cinema for its obscene contents and scenes. See what Binita Baral has to say about the movie...

If you ask me I don't have any problem with movies that have sexual content in it as long as the movie delivers good message to the society. My only problem is when movie producer and directors choose SEX as the only means to promote their movies.

Poision on Our Plate ? Satyameva Jayate Episode 8

I have been very slow leaner towards this show called Satyamev-jayate.

I have watched all the episodes dealing with Female feitcides, Child Abuse, Domestic Voilence to Big Fat Indian Wedding. These all are very well known problems in our soceity. People have lived their life seeing these issues, experinceing it,talking about it, some protesting about, many against it. These are the issues which more known in India or sub-continent countries because its been happening for long time.

Kuddos for team Satyame Jayate for addressing the most important issue which is not in one society but also in the whole world, an issue that is not only for farmers but also to everyone because its directly or indirectly effecting us at mass level. This is one of the issues where we accepted its part of Mordern Industry and almost forgotten how it can effect everyone. We not only need to open but also change the way the we look at this issue.

In this episode Aamir spoke about harmful effects of pesticides on consumers, how excessive use of pesticides by farmer who are misled into this trap of more usage of pesticides > more mass production > more profit.

This is a bigger problem than it looks, because this issue doesn't deal with only one person or one society or one organisation. This reformation of giving importance to food and the quality of food should come from everyone at various level. Its not only with agriculture of farm raised vegetables and fruits, there is serious concern on how the food industry is being run. Even with poultry industry, mass producing non vegetable industry, soft drinks, hundred to million products that are available at consumer's hand.

After watching this show which was less melodrama then more facts and interesting points from various people. There are few question that comes on one's mind. Where do we start?

Do we need to ask farmers to stop using pest-control methods?
or change the methods?
Educate the farmers with new methods?
Organization to avoid pesticides or control pesticides usage?
Changes in pest control products or industry at large?
Health Body to improve quality to measure food quality?
Do we need to tell our parents or family to take care of food that they get?
to follow some basic steps of cleaning, soaking and striping a food before we consume?
Or think before we buy?
teach everyone to look at ingredients or substances used and chain proccess how its in their hand?

or

Do we need a global lesson to give importance to food?

#WATCH SATYAME JIYATHE EPISODE # 8

I feel there is strong movement towards achieving the organic food across the world. Today we have Australia, Switzerland and other countries leading into organic food. We see there are lot of products that are available to consumer which are labeled as organic food. One thing is very clear; modern industry drives on commercial's, commercial is term that deals with choice of people in masses. So its our choice that matters and yes is needed to be heard backed up action/choice; to count as change.

One of the high points of this show were talk with MD of one of the leading pesticides company and aim of Sikkim state.

Can we take these 2 point of views as past and future? Can we see surrounding abundant with Organic food where one doesn't live with a fear that only way for survival can lead to destruction.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

#Just for fact
If anyone remembers Mansoor Khan, a prominent director who directed 4 movies like Qayamat Sey Qayamat tak, Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikander, Akhele hum Akhele tum and Josh. Do you know where he is after directing Josh. He turned into a farmer growing organic products in Ooty. He has been very actively involved in a change for organic farming. He also presented studies on peak oil links and energy depletion in oils.

See what Hari Bansha has to say about his second marriage!!!

After the demise of his first wife, Hari Bansha got married for the second time with Ramila Pathak couple of days back. With an interview with Annapurna post, this is what he has to say about his marriage

Q: How did you decide on getting married again?

This is due to the situation and the circumstances. My younger son Mohit and Ramila's son are friends and they started talking about our marriage in the beginning. It is due to Basundhara didi and Madan Krishna dai that I have decided to get married.

Q: What was your thoughts and opinion about your marriage?
First of all, I didn't do anything that I wasn't supposed to do. Living alone is tough and challenging. One who has gone through this ordeal can only empathize me. I still have a long life ahead of me and there is so much I have to do. To live alone rest of my life would be really hard that is why I have decided to remarry again. If I was too old then probably I wouldn't have gotten married again.

Q: How was it like to live that 14 months after the demise of Meera Bhauju?
For quite some time I was constantly thinking about her. However, it is almost impossible to live like that. No matter what life goes on and I have to work. Madan Dai and bhauju tried a lot to convince me. I used to alone at home and lots of unwanted thoughts used to come to my mind. At that point I realized its very important to have a life partner till the rest of my life.

Q: How did you meet with Ramila Bhauju?
I used to lost in my own thoughts after the demise of my first wife. Nothing seemed and looked interesting. It was as if there were no colors to my life. One time during the film shooting I was sitting alone lost in my own thoughts. Basundhara didi was also present there and suggested me to marry again looking at my condition. After that she introduced me to Ramila . Then we started talked and got a good vibe from her and got married.

Q: How was the marriage like?
The wedding took place and Ramila's sister house. The whole process was completed in 19 minutes.

Q: How come Madan Dai was not there during your wedding?
He was in Thailand at the time. We used to talk a lot about the wedding and he gave his blessings over the phone. He played a vital role to make this wedding happen.

Q: Why did you get married secretly?
I invited few people that are close to me. I didn't think it would be appropriate to do a big fat wedding.

Q: Did you think of Meera Bhauju while putting Sindhur?
I did. In fact a lot. I have now considered as a god. She is no more with us and that is why I looked at her photo and asked for her blessings.

Q: How are you feeling right now?
I have to say I am happy.

Q: How about your sons?
Elder son, Trilok, is in US. He couldn't come. However, my younger son Mohit was very happy.

Q: What are people saying about your second marriage?
I know I haven't done anything wrong. So far I have received positive feedback. It would have been completely wrong If I had remarried while Meera was still alive.

I believe he has full right to do whatever he wants in his life...Who are we to say if he did wrong or right. His sons are happy, he is happy , his new wife and her family is happy ,pretty much everyone is Happy so we have to be happy as well.

I am really impressed by his and his new wife's sons decision to get them married. Not everyone can do it for their parents. Half of the time people waste their life thinking about what the society is going to say and how people going to react. Hats off to their kids for thinking about their parents!!!. I hope and pray both of them have a great married life ahead.

Police Interrogate Chapali Height Girl-Binita Baral

Baral after the release of Chapali Height movie has risen to fame with her bold and sexy scenes in the movie. For some reason it looks like Binita Baral cannot stay away from controversies!!

Police arrested television model Nishal Karki and briefly detained actress Binita Baral last nite (June 21, 2012) for allegedly harassing her Chapali Height co-star Raj Ghimire. Though the complaint was filed against Karki, Baral was summoned to establish if she was also involved in cyber crime, police said. Baral claimed that the accusation was baseless.

According to the source, Ghimire filed an FIR against Karki for harassing him and sending threats through Facebook.

I guess after the success of Chapali Height people have gone crazy...sending threats to people through facebook and all....I am not sure when did it become a new trend in Nepal...Well its funny how things are going...
I am not sure who is guilty but for now Karki is still in police custody and Binita Baral was in the police station to refute the charge against karki whom she said was like her brother...

Not sure who is telling the truth...I guess we will have to wait to find out...

Lata Mangeshar to sing Nepali song after 46 years!!

Lata Mangeshkar is one of the best-known and most respected playback singers in India. Whereas Ram Krishna Dhakal is a famous modern, pop and playback singer, actor and reality show judge from Nepal. These two amazing singers are going to record a Nepali song called "Phool Bhancha Phooli Rahoon, Joon Bancha Chamki Rahoon".

Lata Mageshkar has sung few Nepali songs in the past as well. But it is after 46 years she is recording new song with Ram Krishna Dhakal. Both of them are looking forward to the completion of the song.

When two great artist work together they come out with the best of best result!!Anxiously waiting for this song to come out.

Hari Bansha marries again!!!

Our favorite of all Mr. Hari Bansha has tied knot for the second time at the age of 53. Mr Hari Bansha's wife passed away few years back. His new bride, Ramila Pathak is a single mother whose husband passed away ten years ago in an accident. She has a 21 year old son. Mr.Bansha has two sons from his 30 years marriage to Meera.

His wedding took place at the residence of the bride's sister in Kathmandu and only selected members were present for the wedding. Mr. Bansha seems very exited and happy to open new chapter of his life and I am also very happy for the newly wed.

When I first heard about his second marriage I was not sure how to react. In our society men re-marrying at old age is not that uncommon and is not frowned upon. Our society only reacts when women get married for the second time...

But I guess this case is unique. It would have been really bad if he had gotten married to some girl half of his age. But thankfully he got married to a single mother and I hope both of them will be supportive of each other....

My best wishes to Mr. Bansha and Ramila!!!!

Sushma Karki Looking BINDAAS

BINDAAS the upcoming movie is already stirring people's interest. I am not sure the credit goes to film maker of the hot and sizzling picture of Sushma Karki.
Sushma Karki, after the success of Udreko Choli, cannot run away from the limelight. She is the most desirable actress at the current stage.

I am sure after looking at the above poster everyone is curious about her performance in the movie. She is bold and beautiful and I wish her all the best for her upcoming movie.. Lets see what people has to say about her...

Funny how the picture looks... Girl pressing her boobs from two side with blood all over her body ..not sure what the poster is trying to portray.. definitely not BINDAAS though

Dozen girls have committed suicide after failing SLC exam

The pass percentage of SLC is only 47.16 form 55.50 percent last year. This result has shocked the whole nation. Not sure whom to be blamed; parents , school, government, our education system or the student itself. Worst of all is dozen of girls have committed suicide after failing the exam..
I am deeply sadden by this news..

I strongly believe parents are to be blamed for the growing suicide rate among girls. Kids are put under lot of pressure by their parents. How can 15 or 16 years old handle that much pressure? Girls are mentally and emotionally tortured everyday to pass the exam in flying colors. Not everyone is equipped to work under pressure, which parents don't understand at all..

Even after passing SLC there are equally other tough exams that a students have to go through. But what I fail to understand is why is SLC given so much attention and limelight by the media and parents saying that it is the iron gate of the life..

I don't think its any sort of iron gate or whatever gate...i think its just a regular exam that every other students go through...

However I am sad that lot of girls have committed suicide and I hope and pray that the mentality of parents , education system gets better...
