Why Nepali Actresses are being targeted in Movie Industry

Nepali Movie Industry has been criticized for a long time for its incompetency to make a quality movie. This is the main reason why Nepali audiences are more inclined to Bollywood industries. Its only after the release and the immense success of LOOT, Nepali audience got confidence in the Nepali movie industry. Movie makers have finally understood the expectations of new generation and are more determined to make good movies. I am sure in coming days, more good and meaningful movies would be released.

However, one thing I don't understand is why the media is so much after Nepali Actresses. There is a desperate cry from Nepali audience for something better and quality movies. But whenever the movies come out actresses are always criticized for their bold scenes and sexuality. Why can't we accept that its part of the entertainment industry and we have to respect our actresses for taking that stand to be part of the movies.

Now talking about Chapali Heights, the controversial movie, Binita Baral has been constantly put under the microscope for doing some bold scenes. I don't understand why she is being so much targeted by the media and reporters. It was part of her job and I don't think she did anything indecent. Why is it okay for us to adore Hollywood and Bollywood actress for such a scene but why not our own Nepali Actresses? Why do they have to explain everyone over and over again about their roles in the movies...Why can't we just watch the movie, accept it , respect it and move on....

If you watch the below interview with the Binita Baral, you can see how the reporter is purposefully trying to disrespect Binita. A reporter cannot have a biased opinion while interviewing any person. If you watch the interview carefully Binita Baral stands on her ground and gracefully answers all his question...

I think people need to grow up and accept that it is a part of the Entertainment business and respect Nepali Actresses...

Binita Baral about Chapali Heights

I guess everyone knows Binita Baral by now...She is the sensational actress of Chapali Heights movie. Chapali Heights movie is also one the most talked about movies in Nepali Cinema for its obscene contents and scenes. See what Binita Baral has to say about the movie...

If you ask me I don't have any problem with movies that have sexual content in it as long as the movie delivers good message to the society. My only problem is when movie producer and directors choose SEX as the only means to promote their movies.

Poision on Our Plate ? Satyameva Jayate Episode 8

I have been very slow leaner towards this show called Satyamev-jayate.

I have watched all the episodes dealing with Female feitcides, Child Abuse, Domestic Voilence to Big Fat Indian Wedding. These all are very well known problems in our soceity. People have lived their life seeing these issues, experinceing it,talking about it, some protesting about, many against it. These are the issues which more known in India or sub-continent countries because its been happening for long time.

Kuddos for team Satyame Jayate for addressing the most important issue which is not in one society but also in the whole world, an issue that is not only for farmers but also to everyone because its directly or indirectly effecting us at mass level. This is one of the issues where we accepted its part of Mordern Industry and almost forgotten how it can effect everyone. We not only need to open but also change the way the we look at this issue.

In this episode Aamir spoke about harmful effects of pesticides on consumers, how excessive use of pesticides by farmer who are misled into this trap of more usage of pesticides > more mass production > more profit.

This is a bigger problem than it looks, because this issue doesn't deal with only one person or one society or one organisation. This reformation of giving importance to food and the quality of food should come from everyone at various level. Its not only with agriculture of farm raised vegetables and fruits, there is serious concern on how the food industry is being run. Even with poultry industry, mass producing non vegetable industry, soft drinks, hundred to million products that are available at consumer's hand.

After watching this show which was less melodrama then more facts and interesting points from various people. There are few question that comes on one's mind. Where do we start?

Do we need to ask farmers to stop using pest-control methods?
or change the methods?
Educate the farmers with new methods?
Organization to avoid pesticides or control pesticides usage?
Changes in pest control products or industry at large?
Health Body to improve quality to measure food quality?
Do we need to tell our parents or family to take care of food that they get?
to follow some basic steps of cleaning, soaking and striping a food before we consume?
Or think before we buy?
teach everyone to look at ingredients or substances used and chain proccess how its in their hand?

or

Do we need a global lesson to give importance to food?

#WATCH SATYAME JIYATHE EPISODE # 8

I feel there is strong movement towards achieving the organic food across the world. Today we have Australia, Switzerland and other countries leading into organic food. We see there are lot of products that are available to consumer which are labeled as organic food. One thing is very clear; modern industry drives on commercial's, commercial is term that deals with choice of people in masses. So its our choice that matters and yes is needed to be heard backed up action/choice; to count as change.

One of the high points of this show were talk with MD of one of the leading pesticides company and aim of Sikkim state.

Can we take these 2 point of views as past and future? Can we see surrounding abundant with Organic food where one doesn't live with a fear that only way for survival can lead to destruction.

#Just for fact
If anyone remembers Mansoor Khan, a prominent director who directed 4 movies like Qayamat Sey Qayamat tak, Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikander, Akhele hum Akhele tum and Josh. Do you know where he is after directing Josh. He turned into a farmer growing organic products in Ooty. He has been very actively involved in a change for organic farming. He also presented studies on peak oil links and energy depletion in oils.
