Satyamevjayate---Aamir Khan must watch show!!! (Episode 1)

I am not a huge fan of Aamir Khan, but I guess you don't have to be a fan of someone to acknowledge and appreciate one's hard work. I have been regularly following this show from day one and I am completely shaken away by the things that has been brought into people's attention. Issues that were hiding under the rugs for so long are now finally brought in front of people's attention. Its not about India or Bollywood that I am trying to focus on , its about the societal issues that we are talking about..I hope one day every one will learn to respect and love each other ...

The first episode was about killing of unborn girls, or female foeticide, an alarming and frightening reality. It involves the collusion of families, doctors and a social structure that encourages the desire for a boy child - at any cost. The result has been the death of over 3 crore unborn girls since independence and a generation of young men, many amongst whom will find it very tough to get a life partner.

Don't know what to say after watching these episode. Didn't know people become murderer to fulfill their desire of having a son..
I am sure the same thing happens in Nepal too, its just goes unnoticed. Thankfully its also illegal to know the gender of the baby before the birth......

A brilliant show that deserves to be seen by everyone. There have been similar shows in past but I doubt if anything else was as sensitive, thought-provoking or well-researched as this one.

One of the best things about the show was that despite the running time exceeding more than an hour, not once do you feel it’s being stretched beyond limits.

If it makes even a slight impact, that should be really commendable.
the show, it’s heart-wrenching to say the least... listening to the victims talk and breaking down in front of camera can cause anyone’s tears to flow.

Best part of show was it was direct, we have seen so many issue based shows which gives u messages but they dont boast of hardship of life and cruelty of our society.

With this kind of show or issues in show we one should not watch it and move ahead, one needs to hold think and educated everyone.
